-Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring-Not enough can be said about ANY of the LOTR movies. They are all amazing. My mom read us these books when we were younger. I had all but forgotten about them by the time the first movie came out. My family decided to go see it, and I had no idea what to expect. I came out in love with my new favorite series.

-Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers-Again...amazing. The visuals and effects made this one seem to be better than the first, even though it's hard to top that. The battle of Helms Deep was so exciting. I know it's nerdy, but when Gandalf came down the side of the mountain with reinforcements, I got the chills.

-Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King-I saw this movie about 8 or 9 times in theaters alone. Even though I love all three, this was the best of them all. Minas Tirith was stunning. Everything about every battle was epic. Simply the best.

-300-A very different but great movie. The action sequences were mind-boggling. A mix between matrix effects and roman war! Not to mention, Gerard Butler is a pretty cool guy.

-Braveheart-A battle lover's classic. Mel Gibson plays the part perfect. I love the Irish/Scottish accents too! Wish I had one. There are some hilarious parts in it too. "Ireland...it's MINE!"

-Gladiator-One of the first to come to my mind after LOTR. I never much cared for Russel Crowe, but after this one, he's up there on the list. I actually got my wife to watch this (who isn't a fan of battle movies) and she watched it, loved it, cried, and now it's one of her favorites.

-King Arthur-I love this adaptation of the story. Clive owen is one bad dude. I love the themes of honor, valor, and strength. All qualities to make a movie great.
-Troy-I'm also not a fun of Brad Pitt so much, but he did a great job in this one. Prince Hector is by far the best character in this one though. Awesome fighting sequences and stunning effects.

-The Last Samurai-And yet again...Tom Cruise is not up there on my list, but this movie...Honor, strength, training day and night, living the life of a warrior. I love the way of the Japanese Samurai. This movie made me want to go there sooooo bad.

-The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian-If I could have an 11, The Lion, The With and the Wardrobe would be on here, but this one beats it out. Much better action and battle scenes. I got chills a few times on this one too.
So that's it for this group of posts. I'm going to attempt to post more soon if I get more ideas coming in. See you soon.
